NEW BOOK TO DONATE A PERCENTAGE OF PROCEEDS TO PETFINDER.COM AND TRIPS FOR KIDS FOUNDATIONS. Cambria, California, USA – April, 2008.

The Great Chiweenie Productions is proud to present its newest publication, The Adventures of the Great Chiweenie: Biking Across America with a Pack of Teenagers, from the bike riding dog, Gu, and one of his biking buddies, Cubby Cashen. The book is now available through Amazon.com and at select retailers. Bike touring across the United States is a goal that bike riders from around the world strive to accomplish. This book has a unique dog-eye's look at the trip from one coast to the other, while dealing with all of the issues that occur when riding unsupported with a pack of teenagers. Gu takes everything in and presents all of the difficulties and strains with only that positive and spastic manner a chiweenie could.

Cubby and Gu are giving a percentage of proceeds to organizations that promote positive and long-lasting relationships between humans and nature. Trips For Kids (www.tripsforkids.org) provides an atmosphere for disadvantaged children to enjoy mountain biking. Trips For Kids has helped start over 50 charters across North America. Petfinder.com Foundation (www.petfinder.com) provides a pet adoption directory and raises money for pet adoption agencies nationwide. Petfinder.com hopes to increase the number of animals adopted through their efforts.
